Equipment - The hire price for the wetsuits stays the same at £30.00.  If you want to practice in your wetsuit we can arrange for the suit to be sent to you earlier at no additional cost. Alternatively, you can collect your wetsuit at the ExCel centre on Saturday morning along with the bikes. 

The Novotel has provided a ground floor storage room that will be locked over night for security. This is for all competitors bringing their own bike.

Wetsuits

Wetsuits will be provided by the Triathlon Organisation themselves this year. Dan Grey will be coordinating these and we are planning to distribute them from the Novotel on Friday evening for the those people arriving from Europe. On Saturday morning you will be directed from the registration desk to collect your equipment and then on to transition to rack your bike.

A wetsuit is compulsory for all triathlons in the UK involving open water swimming and your coordinator will have ensured that you sent through all your details for hiring one. A wetsuit will not only keep you warm, but will also help you swim faster, as it provides you with extra buoyancy. Surf and shorty wetsuits are allowed but these are totally different to a triathlon specific wetsuit. 

Bikes

TRI and RUN will provide the bikes this year and these will be available for collection on the Saturday morning. All bikes will have a drink cage attached to the bike. Helmets will also be provided this year.

If you are bringing your own bike we have arranged a storage area at the Novotel.

Bikes for AUTOGLASS competitors will be ready for collection on the Saturday morning also and will be distributed by Becky Smith.
